AET (Alpha-ethyltryptamine)
Source: leda.lycaeum.org

AET is a monoamine releasing agent like MDMA and PCA. Those are somewhat neurotoxic, so maybe AET is too. Rats were dosed eight times with 30 mg/kg subcutaneous AET acetate. Investigation of their brains one week later showed decreased 5-HT, 5-HIAA, and 5-HT uptake sites in the frontal cortex and decreased 5-HT and 5-HIAA in the hippocampus. AET might be neurotoxic like MDMA and PCA.
